So You Want to Sell Your Business
Ed Laflamme started his own business from scratch, built it up, sold it and then wrote a book about how he did it. So, he’s been there. He understands your frustrations, worries and concerns.
Some of you may want to buy companies, while others may want to sell the one you own. You need expert assessment and guidance before you can move forward.
Ed Laflamme
The greatest asset Ed Laflamme offers his clients is the fact that he’s owned and operated his own business. As a longtime owner, he made about enough mistakes to qualify him to help most folks avoid making the same ones (or worse). During the time he owned his business, Ed bought three companies. He sold his own business in 1999 (after growing it to $7 million in sales annually), and since then he’s helped many owners buy and sell companies.
Ed understands what buyers are looking for and what a company needs to do to be presented properly for sale.
Bill Arman
Upon graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture, Bill started a 29-year career with the Valley Crest Companies, which today is a $1 billion landscape business that is well known throughout the U.S. Bill worked his way through many field positions at VCC leading to the Regional VP position for the Southern California region, overseeing a $25 million portfolio with 6 offices, 5 separate service lines and over 500 employees. During his time at VCC, Bill also spent two years as VP of Human Resources, serving as the primary architect for the development and implementation of the national training program, performance management system, and the recruiting program for the 10,000-employee company.
Bill has learned that while growing plants was a big part of the landscape business, he also learned that growing people and relationships was a more critical part of having a gratifying professional and personal existence.
