Joan is an industry veteran with a wide breadth of experience over her career from growing to business management and new product development for many product lines with a passion for container design. Formerly with 20+ years as the Team Lead for Container Solutions for the Ball Seed Company, she chooses plants and designs for the overall success of the grower, retailer, and ultimately the consumer who needs to feel successful in their gardening experience to come back to the garden center again! 

In continuing to share her passion for container design excellence, Joan volunteers her time to the Digging In Association as a member of the Board of Directors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the professional development of container gardening professionals.
