Perennial plants are known for being care free and easy maintenance.  That doesn’t mean they are perfect though.  Laura and Josh will walk you through some of the most common problems landscape perennials face, as well as how to combat the problems and avoid them in the first place.

Josh Roggenbuck joined the Walters Gardens, Inc. family as Regional Product Manager in December of 2017. Josh has extensive perennial knowledge due to his experience owning his own garden center, The Flower Farm in Bad Axe, Michigan. Most of the perennials he sold were from Walters Gardens liners, making him a perfect fit to be a representative of our product, including Proven Winners® Perennials. Prior to Walters Gardens, Josh most recently served as a Territory Sales Manager for Vischer Colby Sales, where he sold 12 brands of manufactured goods to garden centers in Michigan.  Josh has a degree in horticulture from Michigan State University, and was recognized in GPN’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2012.

Laura Robles joined the Walters Gardens, Inc. family as Trials Manager in November of 2017. She participates in the trialing process with young plant and finished container production, as well as researches production of varieties that are new or not yet widely released. Prior to joining Walters Gardens, Laura served as Research & Development Manager for Neal Mast/Mast Young Plants.  During her tenure at Mast, Laura established a positive reputation in the horticulture industry as a knowledgeable resource in trialing varieties for breeding companies.  Laura has a degree in horticulture from Michigan State University, and has been recognized in GPN’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2013 and was a nominee for GrowerTalks’ Young Grower Award.
