The Identity of a Foreman

What makes a good foreman?  Sound technical skills?  A strong work ethic?  The softer people skills?  The answer is yes; and so much more.  This session is a practical look at the different skills and competencies a good foreman (or manager) must have to effectively lead his team.  In addition, simple growth strategies will be offered to help build the necessary skills to better interact with team members, superiors, and customers.

Adam DeLamielleure is a Green Industry “lifer”.  He grew up in a family of landscapers and started working in design/build in high school.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Michigan State University in 1996.  After graduation, he continued working for various landscape design firms, ultimately becoming a hardscaping specialist.  In 2008, he left the design/build world and began working at Unilock as a Territory Manager.
