A Beginner’s Guide to Herbicides

Jan 23 2018 - 9:00am

The most often used herbicides in nursery and landscape will be discussed.  The mode of action (MoA) of these herbicides along with their MoA group number will be presented.  A few pros and cons of each MoA group, including why certain herbicides control certain weeds and not others will be examined.  Additionally, improving your weed control via understanding the timing related to MoA’s will be reviewed.  This presentation will help predict how your “taking action” against your weeds will depend on the “mode of action” you choose.
