We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Mechanical and Inventory Technician to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing all machinery and vehicles. Your duties will include monitoring inventory, inspecting vehicles, and assembling machinery.

Additionally, you will be responsible for developing an inventory tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a daily analysis. Your chief goal in this position will be to monitor and report on our company’s inventory levels.

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment with outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

    Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
    Examine the levels of supplies and materials to determine shortages.
    Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory.
    Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
    Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for use in field.
    Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
    Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
    Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
    Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and automotive vehicles.
    Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
    Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
    Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
    Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
    Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle users.
    Perform vehicle assessments and alert management on issues that will prohibit vehicles from use in the field.
    Oversee and perform maintenance and repair of our facilities.

Requirements:

    A minimum of 5 years’ of combined experience in a mechanic and inventory role.
    Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management, and forecasting techniques.
    An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
    Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
    Excellent communication and leadership abilities. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
    Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred.
    In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
    Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
    Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.25 - $24.00 per hour
