Job Requirements:

Responsible for the growing, watering, fertilizing, spraying, lighting, forcing, climate control, and any chemical applications for the growing of annual crops.

Will scout for disease and insect problems and practice preventative measures.
Ordering of fertilizer and chemicals as needed.
Sending samples of
Diseased/damaged plants for identification
Water samples
Soil samples to be tested as needed
Keeps records necessary to carry out their job
Keeps lines of communication open and provides production managers and supervisors with cultural and environmental information they need to run departments efficiently.
Any other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Willing to work hour needed to complete the tasks
    Able to work in different weather and changing temperature environments.
    Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and be on your feet most of the day.
    Regular and reliable attendance.
    Keep your work area clean
    Light maintenance/mechanical abilities
    Experience growing annuals in a greenhouse setting
