Wake Up and Smell the Color - BALL-D

Date/Time:
Jan 10 2012 - 8:00am

Color is an important component to many landscapes. The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden plants over 100,000 tulips for its spring displays and then turns those beds over to one of the regions largest annual display/trials. Every year both bulbs and annuals are labeled and evaluated for their quality and impact in the landscape. This talk will focus on the best annuals that provided the most impact for the CZBG over the last 10 years. We will also show how color is used in the spring with dazzling displays of tulips and what that means to the Zoo’s bottom line. So come wake up and smell the color!
