MSU Nursery Hands–On Computer Workshop: “Determining Your Nursery Plants’ Cost of Production Using the New MSU Software”

This is a hands-on workshop for any nursery business that wants to get a good handle on their plants’ costs that they grow and sell. The Excel-based spreadsheet software was developed by Dr. R. Thomas Fernandez, Roger Betz and Thomas A. Dudek. It works for both “field” or “container” stock growers and can handle data on up to 100 different crops. Participants will need to bring their own laptop computer that has a CD_ROM drive and the ability to use MS Office Excel-97 or newer software. All participants will receive a copy of the new MSU software to take home and use after this four-hour training workshop. In addition to the regular GLTE Registration, there is a Registration fee of $75 and Pre-Registration is required.
