Asian Longhorned Beetle: Let's Hope for Successful Eradication - GGOL-AB
Asian Longhorned Beetle is an invasive woodborer that attacks maples and many other tree species. An established population was found in 2011 in Ohio, which is not all that far from Michigan. The session will cover ALB ecology, diagnostic symptoms, and its impacts. The ongoing eradication efforts in Ohio and other states, as well as efforts to reduce the risk of future introductions will also be covered.
