Beth Clawson

Michigan State University Extension

Beth Clawson is a Michigan State University Extension Educator in the Greening Michigan Institute. Beth specializes in Community and Consumer Horticulture Education. She holds a BS in Natural Resources from Grand Valley State University and an MsA in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

Beth now serves as a community foods systems specialist for MSU Extension. She is a member of the Michigan Recycling Coalition and Michigan Composting Council. Beth has served on the Association boards of both; acting as State Chair for the Michigan Composing Council from 2005-2010. In that role, Beth participated on the teams that edited and updated the Michigan Compost Operator Training Manual, the Michigan Master Composter Manual, and the Soils and Composting chapters in the Michigan Master Gardener Manual.
